AMENITIES THAT FACILITATE YOUR ENTIRE PROCESS

Your process is our purpose. Astro Club is designed from the ground up to accommodate all the steps and needs professional visual artists require. Nearly 2000 sq/ft of space is dedicated to amenities and resources to help see your vision through.  


  • This large, natural-light-filled studio is open for painting, drawing, and writing. You will have access to folding easels and tables and temporary storage for works-in-progress. The studio comes equipped with track lighting and a wash-up sink.

    This space is a general amenity to members, available 24 hr/day unless booked as a private rental.

    This space is available for private rentals for classes, life-drawing sessions, workshops, labs and meetings, up to three hours a day max.

    Rates:

    Members $100/3hr sessions
    Non-members $200/3hr sessions

    Available hours:

    Mon-Sun 6 PM - 9 PM or 7 PM - 10 PM. Storage is available for continuing programming.

  • A large 20’x12’ flexible space equipped with:

    • Godox strobes

    • LED panels

    • 2 x c-stands

    • Selection of backdrop paper colours

    • Tripod

    • Private entrance

  • Our 15’x14’ gallery space opens onto West 4th, and plans to facilitate exhibitions and presentations bi-monthly. The gallery is secured from studio spaces during events.

    Zoom Booth: A private individual meeting area designed for digital meetings.

  • Working area w/ tools for assembly/light projects

    This is an upcoming project for the facility which will eventually be the Sand Wan Workshop. It will feature a dust-abated environment, offering several working areas and benches and home to a robust and meticulous selection of tools and equipment.
